Bairro localizado no extremo da zona leste paulistana, S\u00e3o Miguel Paulista \u00e9 um reduto nordestino e, durante a maior festa cultural brasileira, n\u00e3o deixa de mostrar suas ra\u00edzes para a cidade que os acolheu.<\/p>\n<p>Foi nesse bairro que, em 2012, surgiu o Bloco do Bai\u00e3o, uma homenagem ao centen\u00e1rio do grande mestre sanfoneiro brasileiro, Luiz Gonzaga. O Bloco do Bai\u00e3o \u00e9 um dos quase 500 blocos carnavalescos que desfilar\u00e3o pela capital paulista entre o pr\u00e9-carnaval e o p\u00f3s-carnaval. A maior parte desses blocos passam pelo centro da cidade, mas apesar do menor investimento, h\u00e1 folia rolando tamb\u00e9m pelas periferias de S\u00e3o Paulo.
